1. In the video, I talked about Lazy 8 Breathing. This is called Lazy 8 breathing because the 8 is taking a nap, as you can see here! 😊 The shape of the 8 can help us to breathe deeper. To do lazy 8 breathing, just trace your finger in this shape. You can do this anywhere, on a table or countertop or even the floor where you are sitting. Breathe in on one loop, and out on the other. Try to make your loops even.
2. There are other shapes you can draw to practice deep breathing. Try some of these and see which type of breathing you like best.
3. Draw your favorite shape(s) in your SEL journal.
