1. The other adults and kids in our life are a very important part of helping us learn about our feelings. Ask someone in your family if you can teach them about piloting their plane. It is possible they have never heard that our bodies are like planes, and we are the pilots! Teach them what you have learned, and show them your calm down tools and SEL journal.
2. Ask you parents what they do to keep their plane flying smoothly. Ask them if they have noticed that taking breaks, exercising, stretching, eating, drinking water, and sleeping well help them to feel better. Ask them what they do when they are not in thegreen zone.
